  • Is there also a large spa area in the boutique design building in Ennetbaden?
    • No. The wellness oasis "Novum Spa" is located in the historic building in Baden and is included for hotel guests staying in the boutique design building. In addition, the Private Spa Suites are located in the same modern building and can be booked separately with a 10% discount for hotel guests.
  • Can a minor use the Private Spa?
    • The Private Spa Suite is available from the age of 16 and can be booked without parental consent. (Alcohol will be removed.)
  • Are bathing shoes obligatory at Limmathof Baden? 
    • Bathing shoes are only recommended, not obligatory.
  • What are the differences between the hotel buildings in Baden and Ennetbaden?
    • The historic buildings on the Baden side of the river at Limmathof exude a traditional, neo-baroque ambience with classic bath architecture and stylish rooms. In contrast, the modern building on the opposite side features clear, cubic lines, contemporary design, spacious rooms, and integrated Private Spa Suites for a modern wellness experience.
  • Is there an underground connection between the buildings or do I have to go outside in bad weather for breakfast/spa access?
    • No, there is no underground connection between the buildings. For the short walk of a few minutes, we are of course happy to provide you with additional umbrellas on request, in addition to the one already provided in the room.
  • Is vaping allowed in the room/in the PSS since it doesn’t produce smoke?
    • No, vaping is also not allowed, as the vapor can have an unpleasant smell and leaves residues on textiles and furniture.
  • Is there direct parking for day guests ( private spa / daypackage / SPA )?
    • For day guests as well as hotel guests we recommend the public parking garage Zentrum, Bachtalstrasse 5408 Ennetbaden. There is no parking in front of the hotel building.
  • Do I have to book in advance for breakfast as part of the daypackage?
    • No, there is no need to book in advance for the breakfast.
    • The Daypackages, on the other hand, must be booked in advance.
  • Is it allowed to order take away food at the Privat Spa?
    • Yes, you are welcome to order food on platforms such as Eat.ch or Uber Eats. The order must be paid in advance.
  • What's the deal with the hot fountains by the river?
    • The association Bagni Popolari Baden realized publicly accessible thermal water fountains called "hot fountains". These may be visited daily from 07.00 - 22.00. You can find more information here.
  • Is it allowed to pay with 1000 note?
    • Payment with a 1000 note is only possible if the amount to be paid exceeds CHF 1'000.
  • Can I pre-book entry to the Novum Spa?
    • Admission cannot be reserved. If you book a massage, we can guarantee you admission. Unlimited admission is included in the massage price.
  • Can I apply a voucher to a room that was paid for with a "non-refundable rate" and a credit card?
    • Unfortunately this is not possible. The full amount will be deducted from the credit card for the "non-refundable rate".
